Update from Ally:

When Ally came to us she was found as a stray and was close to being euthanized because she was heartworm positive. We immediately got Ally current with the veterinarian and began treatment for heartworms. Ally persevered and recovered from the treatment in no time. She was adopted out once to a gentleman, however it was just not the right match for what Ally was looking for. So she came back to rescue where she not too much later met her forever Dad, Hugh. Hugh saw the potential in Ally and immediately fell in love with her. He committed to her training and she has recently become a certified Therapy Dog. Ally now goes into nursing homes to comfort the patients and spread her love. We are so proud of Ally! See her picture below in her new "uniform." Even though Ally is now official, she is still shy with having her picture taken :)
